Revolutionary War Military Supplies Sent In New Jersey March 1780, Lot of 2 Letters Signed by Nathaniel Hunt, Regarding Military Supplies, [New Jersey], Fine-Very Fine. 1. March 6, 1780, Autograph Letter Signed, "Nathl. Hunt", Cranbury, one page, 8" x 6" fine-laid paper, folded from a larger sheet, sent to Col. Furman in Trenton: "Dear Sir - The Flour that I have on hand is for Col: Dunham at Morris Town and to be sent on as fast as possible to that Post (the Road Bad the Farmers would not go) Supplyed to Major Gordon for Teams - he said there was Patton's Brigade was handy and Loading was not very plenty at Trenton -- so if agreeable I send them a second Trip if no other Brigade comes mean time..." Letter has occasional foxing, but clear, legible manuscript--with outstanding Revolutionary War content! 2. March 27, 1780, Autograph Letter Signed, "Nathl. Hunt", Cranbury, on fine-laid paper measuring 6" x 6": "If you should not have loading plenty with you, I have upwards of a hundred barrels on hand and would be glad that it Could be taken out of the way..."
