c. 1898, Hand-painted Signed Plate Proof by Albert Rosenthal, Choice Extremely Fine.
8" x 5.75" image on a 15.75" x 12" sheet. After the painting by Charles Willson Peale. "Albert Rosenthal" has signed in pencil at lower right of image. At lower left corner is a list of 20 subscribers. "No. 8" is written in pencil below a scroll with "Articles of Capitulation... Oct. 19th 1781." Lightly toned in margins. Peale's facsimile signature is at lower left of image.
