The "Enterprise" Flies the American Flag

Snuff Box with War of 1812 Battle Scene between the "Enterprise & Boxer," Choice Fine.
3.5" diameter, round, black lacquered snuff box, with aged, honey-colored scene of the sea battle between the two ships. The "Enterprise" flies the American flag. Inscription below identifies the two ships and the year of the battle, "1813." Age-toned image is dark, but the black lines of the ships and the waves of the ocean are strong. Box with minor wear and a few chips along the edge of the lid, not detracting from the overall appearance.
