(1865), Abraham Lincoln Mourning Ribbon, "True In Life, True In Death," Rare Type, Choice Near Mint.
This very rare President Abraham Lincoln Mourning Ribbon has an image of the late President facing right, with the inscription: "True In Life, True In Death" above, and "Our Country Mourns the Loss of Her Best Son" below. All of this is surrounded by a thick, black border. This 5.5" x 1.5" silk ribbon is in superb condition with clean, straight corners and edges, and 2 pinholes at the top. A great Abraham Lincoln souvenir in choice condition.
