1856 Buchanan & Breckinridge Ticket

1856, James Buchanan & John C. Breckinridge Democratic Ticket, Very Fine.
This 7.25" x 4.75" Democratic Ticket has engraved portrait busts of James Buchanan and John C. Breckinridge at the top, with "Our Principles" printed between them. Some slight stains on the ticket. Signed on the back by a voter. Buchanan would go on to win the White House during this highly contentious Presidential election embroiled in the debate about slavery.
