Rare 39-Star Flag From The 1876 Philadelphia Exposition

1876, 39-Star U.S.-International Flag from the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition, Choice Extremely Fine.
Attractive, colorful 17" x 25" printed U.S./"International" flag banner linen that features a 39-star U.S. flag surrounded by smaller replica flags of countries exhibiting at the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial. Listed as #446 on page 210 of "Threads of History." "Patented Dec. 28, 1875" is printed along the left border, following the word "INTERNATIONAL." Some slight fraying to the edges, light staining, and faded printed colors. Rare!-
