Tooth From A 15 Million Years Old Megalodon Shark Huge 5.9 Inch Megalodon Shark Tooth, 15 Million Years Old from the Morgan River in South Carolina. The largest shark that ever lived was Carcharodon Megalodon. It was more than 50 feet long and weighed more than eight times more than the largest Great White. Even though its teeth were shaped like a Great White, it actually was a distant cousin of the Mako shark. With its huge size, it would have eaten anything it came across, including whales! This superior tooth is huge at 5.9", measured on the diagonal, with excellent greenish brown enamel and intact brown root. The enamel is far above average, with only a few cracks and a few minor chips at the top by the root. The serrations are intact and razor sharp which is quite rare for such a large tooth. A superb tooth, that would be a great addition to any collection. Early American will accept payment by check or credit card. ImagesClick on thumbnails to see larger images:
