Teeth and Vertebrae of Large Lamna Shark, Morocco.
At up to 40 feet long, Lamna Otodus was the largest shark that lived 50 million years ago in the warm seas of Khouribga, Morocco. This area is now part of the Sahara Desert. Usually only teeth are found as sharks are cartilaginous with no real bones. This impressive 16" x 10.5" phosphate slab contains seven 2" long teeth as well as four vertebrae. The enamel of the teeth is a lovely brown color with excellent detail and retain their sharp edges.

Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
