c. 1780, MAP, "Partie De La Carte, du Capitaine Cluny, Auteur d'un ouorage anglois intitul'e, American Traveller, pub'lic a Liondres en 1769," Choice Very Fine.
This map features the United States. It is hand colored in tones of yellow, brown and blue and is outlined with a strong orange border. The words, "Partie De La Carte, du Capitaine Cluny, Auteur d'un ouorage anglois intitul'e, American Traveller, pub'lic a Liondres en 1769", are printed in the upper left corner. The map itself measures 9.5" x 17.5" and is taped onto a heavy backing and bordered by a 1 and 1/2 inch, olive green mat. Its overall measurements are 11.75" x 19.5". The map is beautifully matted and ready for display.
