1862, "JOHNSON'S MAP OF THE VICINITY OF RICHMOND, AND PENINSULAR CAMPAIGN IN VIRGINIA," Printed by J. Knowles, NY, Choice Very Fine.
18.25" x 27.5" two-color map of the Union Army's Civil War campaign in Virginia, based on "official maps of the War Department." The sheet is lightly toned with a few burns or stains, and an edge tear, but is quite nice. The back has a geographical index--covering the "W's": West Hartland (Hartford, CT) to West Hartford (Windsor, VT)--which suggests this large, double-page map was pulled from a larger publication.
