Chinese six panel inlaid screen. Mid 19th century. Black lacquered wood screen inlaid throughout with jade, hard stone, mother-of-pearl, ivory and cinnabar. Central scene depicting a temple courtyard with figures. Surrounding scenes with many figures engaged in various activities. Side panels depicting libation cups and potted plants. Bottom border having inlaid beasts. Outer border with a mother-of-pearl decoration. Reverse painted with floral sprigs. 6'2''h. Each panel: 15 7/8''w.

Some discoloration to background. Some minor cracking to inlaid pieces.
