Master of the Rocks school nephrite jade snuff bottle. C.1775-1825. Celadon nephrite jade with iron inclusion. One face illustrates a sage playing a musical instrument under a pine tree with a workman standing nearby amid rocks. The reverse side illustrates three men in a boat at the water’s edge with rocks on the lower right corner, clouds and mountains are observed near the top. A raised foot is recessed on the underside. 2 ½”h x 2”w.
