Autographs HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW & EDWARDS PIERREPONT.
Cut Signature with sentiment, “Yours truly / Henry W. Longfellow,” on pale blue paper, no place, no date, 2.75” x 4”, Very Fine. Slightly faded and glued onto the back of a short Autograph Note Signed by “Edwards Pierrepont,” May 26, 1873, New York, 5.25” x 4.5”, Very Fine: “D’r Sir, I send the autograph as you request and am yours truly...” Pierrepont was Attorney General under U.S. Grant.
