Charlotte Jennings (b.1935) leap year, 1960 oil on canvas, 20 x 30 in., 51 x 76 cm.***Jennings graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art in 1958, where she had won several accolades including the Boise Postgraduate Scholarship. Moving to St.Ives, Cornwall, in the following year to set up her studio, she also worked as an assistant to Patrick Heron. From 1965 she attended Atelier 17 in Paris under the guidance of Stanley William Hayter..
