Thirteen gelatin silver prints, includes one Beaton, signed and annotated in pencil on the verso, one anonymous has typed note attached on verso As Big Ben Strikes Eleven... September 3rd as it struck...the hour for the expiration of Britain's ultimatum to Germany. Also includes 5 gelatin silver prints, printed c.1940, copyright stamped Douglas Glass and annotated in pencil on verso, and 4 anonymous copyright stamped Planet News with adhered notes on verso, detailing the removal of statues in Trafalgar Square and Parliment for safe keeping before bombings.
