Haig-Brown (Roderick) Excerpts from the diary of Roderick Haig-Brown, edited by Valerie Haig-Brown. 6 vol., number 23 of 150 copies, from an edition limited to 164, signed by the editor, artist and printer, 12 actual photographs, illustrations by Richard Bunse, original prospectus loosely inserted, vol. 1-5 contemporary morocco-backed boards, vol. 6 original cloth, preserved in cloth fold-over box, [Cave A203], 12mo, Oregon, Beaverdam Press, 1992.***In his bibliography Cave states that he "spoke with Valerie [Haig-Brown] in mid-1999 regarding the total number of copies sold since publication, and she thought about 75, or half of the number printed... A hindrance to sales has been the almost complete absence of any promotional work on behalf of the Diaries... the only refrence to their publication that [Cave] has found is a brief but informative and finely illustrated article in Steelhead Fly Fishing Journal, volume 1, number 2, 1994, pp. 12-13." .
