Satchell & Co. by Simpkin, Marshall and Co., 1884.***First modern edition of this extremely rare work. "A mixture of odds and ends of information about fishing and fish preservation collected from many sources. It falls roughly into two parts. The more important deals with fish culture, of which Mascall was a pioneer " (Hills). The second part tells of "...sundrie Engines and Treppes to take Polcats, Buzards, Rattes, Mice and all other kindes of vermine and beasts whatsoeuer, most profitable for all Warriners...".
