first Ephemera edition, wood-engraved frontispiece, additional title and plates and vignettes, handsome dark green morocco, g.e., gilt angling motifs to covers, spine gilt in compartments with angling motifs, gilt inner dentelles, with vertical fore-edge painting of Izaak Walton sitting by a river with a rod, reel and a creel, (very simlar to the frontispiece), spine ends very slightly rubbed, [Coigney 69], 8vo, 1853.
