vol.1-7 only (of 10), lithographed throughout with vignette titles and 696 plates after Dollet, Lacauchie and Lassalle (without plates 205, 499, 500 & 600 as in Colas but with plate 700 not in Colas), 20 double-page (each numbered as two plates) mounted on stubs, 3 with slight surface damage at fold (114/5, 151/2 & 193/4), titles foxed, plates 570-572 lightly water-stained at head, a few others a little spotted or browned but generally very clean, contemporary red morocco-backed cloth, gilt, spines gilt, a little rubbed, vol.3 nicked at head of spine, [Colas 1159], large 8vo, Paris, Maison Martinet, Hautecoeur frères, [1844-70].
