first edition, hand-coloured aquatint frontispiece, 12 aquatint plates, 2 hand-coloured, 10 of the plates by George Cruikshank, errata, offsetting to title and a few other ff., occasional spotting, attractive contemporary dark green half crushed morocco, gilt, slightly rubbed, a very good copy, 1834.

***Pettigrew was a surgeon and antiquary and helped establish the Philosophical Society of London. .
