Conway (William Martin, Baron Conway of Allington, art historian and mountaineer, 1856-1937) 4 Autograph Letters signed to various people including "Mr. Colles" and "Mr. Alec-Tweedie", 4pp., v.s., Clanricarde Gardens & Hornton Street, 5th December [1894] - 15th October 1929, on various subjects including mountaineering (on Alpine Journal headed notepaper), "I am no longer editor - resigned the other day & am succeeded by G. Yeld of York. I sail for India in March, but this is at present only a private intention. My wife is to go with me & we propose to spend 6 weeks in Kashmir. I shall then go climbing alone for 3 months, rejoin her & winter in the plains", and two new works for publication, "The first is a ghost book on the "First Italian Renaissance" treated in a new way.
