STAMPED "S.BELL.&.SON" STRASBURG, VA LEAD AND MANGANESE GLAZE OVER A SLIP-WASHED EARTHENWARE PITCHER, approximately 1 gallon, bold straight-side form with a slight high shoulder, short neck, pronounced foot, and single incised shoulder ring, lightly impressed stamp lacking second line. Fourth quarter 19th century. 9 5/8" h, 5 1/8" dia rim
