HEATWOLE, ROCKINGHAM CO., VA ATTRIBUTED DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE JAR, "2" capacity stamp, straight-side form with a flattened rim above a slight shoulder and two spaced incised rings, two applied molded shell-form handles, brushed cobalt "1867" on one side and two opposing feathered leaves on other side framing the capacity stamp, additional cobalt covering the handles.
