CARVED AND PAINTED BLACK DUCK DUCK DECOY, two-piece construction, lacking eyes, original green and black paint, white underside with carved "H", possibly for John Henry Downes, Smith Island and Townsend, VA. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. 6" h, 13 1/2" long

Good as-found condition, shot hole to head, front to back, body with a crack down back and breast
