Watercolor on paper, unsigned. Bust-length, profile portrait of a gentleman with sideburns and wearing a blue spotted cravat. Even toning. 3 1/2"h. 2 7/8"w., in a period frame, 6 1/4"h. 5 1/2"w. Ex Mary Thornton (Ohio), and sold at Garth's, January 8-9, 1976, lot 433.

Condition: Even toning, crease running down left margin, spot at lower left.
