Attributed to Connecticut or New York, ca.1840, tin. Japanned ground and good original floral design on front panel. Yellow flourishes on lid. Wire handle and tin hasp. Minor scratches and hasp is split. 9"w. 4 1/2"d. 4 1/2"h.
