STONEWARE CROCK.
Impressed label "Boughner, Greensboro, Pa 4" (probably Daniel Boughner), 1st half-19th century. Brushed cobalt decoration and two applied handles. 15"h. Daniel was the brother of Alexander Boughner and the son-in-law of Alexander Vance. Alexander Boughner succeeded Vance in running the Greensboro Pottery Works where Daniel was employed as supervisor. Daniel married Mary Vance in 1811. Condition reportDescriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports.
