DECORATED MULE CHEST.
New England, possibly New Hampshire, 1st half-19th century, pine. Two lower drawers and resting on high, cut-out feet. Retains its original, vibrant black over yellow paint decoration. Replaced brasses. 37"h. 19"w. 42"l. Ex Frank Gaglio and Kathleen Molnar, advertised in Maine Antique Digest, May 1984.

Condition: Replaced brasses, missing lower drawer lock, lower drawer with some later nails, minor scattered paint wear and losses.
