PORTRAIT OF A GENTLEMAN ATTRIBUTED TO THE PRIOR-HAMBLEN SCHOOL (NEW ENGLAND, MID 19TH CENTURY).
Oil on panel, unsigned. Half-length portrait of a young man wearing a black suit and in front of green drapes. 14 1/2"h. 10'w., in a period, possibly original, green and black-painted frame, 20 1/4"h. 16 1/2"w. Sold at Garth's, November 27, 1998, lot 246.

Condition: Very minor surface scratches and losses, paint on frame original with some refreshing.
