BANNISTER-BACK ARMCHAIR.
New England, 18th century, maple and ash. Scalloped crest and rail, block and vase turned stiles and legs, double stretchers. The block portions of the turnings are octagons. Old mellow surface with rich color. Feet are older replacements. 17"h. seat, 49"h. overall.

Condition: Minor repairs including regluing some joints.
