DECORATED TRINKET BOX.
Attributed to Vermont, 2nd quarter-19th century, poplar. Paper-covered box with elaborate decoration consisting of a theorem-type painting of fruit on the top and foliate and floral decorations on the sides. Minor imperfections. 4"h. 10"w. 7"d. Ex Newsom and Berdan (Maine).

Condition: Darkened/yellowed varnish, scattered minor losses to the paper with some touchup with gold; original hardware.
