DECORATED FOOTSTOOL.
Possibly Pennsylvania, 2nd quarter-19th century, pine. Wonderfully scroll-cut and retaining its original green paint with red and yellow star and striping, and initials "W.L.H." on both sides. Minor repair. 8 1/4"h. 7 3/4"w. 16"l. Ex Bill Samaha (Massachusetts/Ohio).

Condition: 1.5" on one side of the top very skillfully reattached with associated touch-up. Only minor paint loss.
