Probably New England, 2nd quarter-19th century, pine. Dovetailed construction and retaining its original black over gray smoke decoration with stenciled bands and flower basket. Minor imperfections. 8"h. 19"w. 10"d. Ex Barbara Bako Antiques (Ohio).

Condition: Original hardware, only minor paint loss, though moderate loss to gilt stenciling.
