Pennsylvania, early 19th century, pine. Six-board chest with poplar till and original "ordered" vinegar sponged decoration and green paint. Dovetailed case with bracket feet and bear trap lock. Minor wear. 49 1/2"w. 21"d. 27 3/4"h.
