QUEEN ANNE INLAID HIGH CHEST OF DRAWERS.
Massachusetts, possibly Ipswich, mid 18th century, walnut and pine. Flat top high chest, the upper case with two over four drawers, the lower case with two over three drawers, the central drawer having an inlaid fan; all resting on cabriole legs ending in pad feet. Retains period, engraved brass pulls. Imperfections. 74"h. 35"w. 20"d. Ex Ken Tuttle (advertised in Maine Antique Digest in January/February 1979), descended in a Massachusetts family. Condition reportCondition: Refinished, some later nails, filled age crack on upper case, some drawer runner and drawer support restoration. The lower case has possibly been restored.
