PORTRAIT OF A LADY ATTRIBUTED TO JOSEPH WHITING STOCK (NEW ENGLAND, 1815-1855).
Oil on canvas, unsigned. A fine seated portrait of a handsome woman holding a book with a river landscape in the background. Only minor imperfections. 30"h. 25"w., in a period frame, 35 1/2"h. 30"w.
