Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, dated 1850, watercolor on paper. For Elizabeth Groff, with floral embellishments. Minor imperfections. 4 3/4"h. 8"w., in a period frame, 6 5/8"h. 9 3/4"w. Ex Fritz Ehrenfried (Ohio).

Genealogical research has identified two Elizabeth Groffs born in Montgomery County in 1850: one in Upper Frederick Township, the other in Upper Salford Township.

Condition: Light toning, only minor staining and discoloration.
