FRAKTUR.
Watercolor and ink on paper. Painted in 1836 and recording a birth in Pennsylvania in 1822. The design style is copied by hand from printed fraktur of the same period. Stains and paper patches. 15 1/4"h. 12 1/4"w., in a grain decorated frame, 20 3/4"h. 16 1/2"w.

Bit of water damage causing minor discoloration on the paper in the upper quarter of the piece. Some minor scratches and chips on frame.
