DECORATED BLANKET CHEST.
New England, 1st half-19th century, pine. Original black and white paint in imitation of smoked decoration. Six boards with dovetailed case and bracket feet. Interior till. Areas of paint wear, some repair. 37 1/2"w. 14 1/2"d. 18 1/2"h.

Condition: Repairs with touch up to hinge rail, back/side feet (including some replacements). Minor edge loss to apron, paint wear is mostly to lid.
