LADDERBACK SIDE CHAIR.
American, early 19th century, ash with old black paint. Five graduated arched slats with turned posts, legs and strecher. Replaced seat. 16 1/2" seat, 56 1/2"h. Ex Mary Thornton (Ohio), and sold at Garth's, January 9/10, 1976, lot 411.
