American, early 19th century, pine. Dovetailed box with a chamfered, sliding lid retaining its original batwing brass. Retains some of its original red paint. Imperfections. 5 1/4"h. 7 1/4"w. 12 1/4"l.

Condition: Retains some of its original red paint with some later red as well; lock removed (includes patches) and latch now in its place, one end with some nailed repairs.
