Mary Elizabeth Kline, Eaton, Preble County, 1831, silk on linen. Colorful rows of alphabets in various stitches including the Queen's stitch. Signed and dated "Mary Elizabeth Kline's Work Born October 17 th 1822" "1831". Framed. 19"h. 14 1/2"w.

See Lot 532. The two makers, Elizabeth Mary and Mary Elizabeth,are probably the same girl.
