BURL DOLL HEAD.
American, 19th century. Single piece of burl with simply carved features. Drilled holes for attachment to body. Good patina and figure. Old loss to back corner of shoulder plate. 4 1/4"h.

There is a small fleck of white paint on the top-right of the head and a small "BB" sized chip in the back of the head. There is some roughness to the very bottom edges of the shoulder areas below the attachment holes.
