"A not inconsiderable number of pamphlets were printed soon after the period of these Massacres, to exculpate the murderers, or to incriminate them" (Field). In this work, the author reviews the events, harshly criticizes the participants for violating both divine and human law, and advocates punishment against the Paxton Boys. Two additional versions were published by Andrew Steuart, both within a few days of this very rare first edition (the only other known complete copy located at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania).
