Philadelphia: Joseph Crukshank, 1774. [2], 94, 32 pp. 8vo (201 x 125 mm). Folding map. Modern morocco-backed marbled boards. Condition: folding map tissue-backed, title and first leaf restored with paper losses in the lower and inner margins filled. Repeated conflict during the second half of the18th century between Pennsylvania and Connecticut settlers in the Wyoming Valley originated from conflicting charters of those colonies. The ongoing dispute, known as the Pennamite-Yankee Wars, would not be resolved until after the Revolution.
