[London: George Nightingale, 1 November 1806.] Aquatint engraved by T. Cartwright, hand-colored (412 x 570 mm). Condition: trimmed to the image and mounted to a larger stiff sheet at an early date, early manuscript title on verso. Provenance: Martin P. Snyder. Although trimmed to the image with loss of the title and imprint, this was done at an early date (evidenced by the manuscript title on verso) and gives an intended effect of the work being an original watercolor. The location of the view is unknown, but is likely just a few miles up the river from the city, perhaps in the proximity of Laurel Hill. Snyder MOA 672.
