New York: Currier & Ives, c. 1860. Lithograph, hand-colored (245 x 320 mm). Framed. Condition: very slight marks in lower margin. Provenance: Martin P. Snyder. The Girard Avenue Bridge, completed in 1855, connected the east and west sides of Fairmount Park. This view shows the bridge busy with carriage and foot traffic. Poorly constructed, the bridge would be replaced in 1874. Not in Wainright.
