Philadelphia: Samuel R. Town, c. 1870. Tinted lithograph (397 x 670 mm). Condition: tissue backed, trimmed, lightly soiled, labels affixed in image with some residue. This lithograph depicts the block-long Hotel Aubry as viewed from across a bustling Walnut Street, busy with horse-drawn carriages and strolling pedestrians. Contemporary labels, numbered 3300 to 3350, above each rooftop identify the building's address. Not in Wainwright.
