70mm. Color Transparencies
Lot of nine 70mm. Color transparencies removed from a numbered Master of Roll 113 made in May 1972. Included are 1) three consecutive views of the last photograph taken on the surface of the Moon; first view taken from Lunar orbit with the moon in the background and first photograph showing the command and Service Modules with the near-vertical view of the Lunar Surface, 2) three consecutive views showing Duke saluting the United States flag. In one view, Duke is about one-held meter off the ground and 3) three consecutive views of the Lunar Module. One shows the Accent stage and a portion of the Descent stage, one shows the Descent stage close-up and one shows the Accent stage and most of the Descent stage. An "Underwood" certificate of authenticity reads: "I personally removed these transparencies from the numbered Master". Rare.
