Beatles Paul McCartney and Wings An RIAA platinum award presented to Capitol records to commemorate the sale of more than 1million copies of the Capitol records long playing album 'Wings at the Speed of Sound' The award is luxury mounted framed in wood and burnished aluminium. Measuring 17"x 22" with a first edition copy of Linda McCartney's book Linda's pictures handed out to crew on the Wings at the Speed of Sound Tour. The inside cover has a gold star indicating the number of the book allotted gifted to the crew member. The book contains both colour and black and white candid shots by Linda of both her family the Beatles and other major rock stars.
